BugEra is honored to announce that we were selected to take part in a new Israel Innovation Authority (IIA) consortium named “ BSF Israel, True Circular Economy”.
The consortium will work to enhance several aspects of the BSF value chain, boost the BSF ecosystem and supporting circular economy in Israel and globally.
We are partnering with our great colleagues from, FreezeM, Entoprotech LTD, Neomanna, NRGene Ltd.,Shachar-Group, Ambar Feed Mills, Rafael mills and will collaborate with five leading academic research groups from MIGAL Galilee Research Institute, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Volcani Institute, University of Haifa and Tel Aviv University
The main aspects that the consortium will address are: improving the nutrition of the BSF based on the analysis of raw organic waste through the analysis of high-quality menus, substrate nutritional components, improving growth indicators, health, reproduction as core technologies to be used by the consortium
This multi-participant collaboration will enable a computerized infrastructure based on the data of the various experiments that will be carried out. Which will be used by the industry in the future as a sort of computerized “recipe book” for optimizing organic waste streams, fly species and end use required protein/fat values.
