Israel, Beer Sheva (January 13 2025 ) We are excited to share that BugEra (Israel) and Elmentoz (India) have been awarded the bilateral Israel-India Industrial R&D and Technological Innovation Fund (I4F) grant!
This marks the beginning of an impactful collaboration aimed at addressing global innovation in the Black-Soldier-Fly (BSF) industry, for waste management and renewable energy.
Our joint project will focus on the efficiency of BugEra’s advanced genetic edited Black Soldier Fly (BSF) strain, BSFx2, to transform India’s organic waste into a sustainable oil to biofuel.
BugEra and Elmentoz synergistic expertise, combining BugEra’s specialization in genetics and the supply of neonates, with Elmentoz’s proficiency in BSF cultivation and analysis, will demonstrate BSFx2 efficiency for industrial production collaboration.
This initiative represents more than just a partnership. It’s an example of BugEra’s vision for “BSF is much more than just protein”, and a demonstration of how our scientific innovation can expand the BSF industry to new verticals.
